Introducing oneGov - A New Way to Experience Public Service in Maldives

Today marks an important milestone in the Maldives’ journey towards modernized public services. We are honored to unveil oneGov, a modern digital platform that seamlessly integrates government services, facilitating effortless interactions between the citizens and government of Maldives. 

oneGov exemplifies the unwavering commitment and dedication of the Government of Maldives to harness modern technology in the transformation and enhancement of public services. oneGov is launched today with 112 services from 6 government entities.  We are pleased to announce additional government entities have committed to join and offer their services through oneGov in the near future. 

We extend our deepest gratitude to the initial participating entities for their collaboration.

•      Ministry of National Planning & Infrastructure

•      Ministry of Economic Development

•      Health Protection Agency (HPA)

•      Aasandha

•      Fuvahmulah City Council.

 

Additional partnering entities and local councils are slated to join oneGov, further expanding the range of services available.

Noteworthy Features of oneGov:

  • Unified Access: oneGov centralizes an array of services for multiple government agencies , enabling users to apply for services through one platform.

  • Efficiency and Time-saving: oneGov significantly reduces the time taken to access and apply for government services by eliminating physical visits and navigating through various websites.

  • Simplified User Experience: Intuitive and user-friendly application forms ensure effortless engagement.

  • Digital Application Processing: Expedited and secure processing of applications.

  • Application Tracking: Real-time tracking of application status, keeping users informed at every stage.

Additionally, oneGov is launched with oneGov Workplace, a comprehensive suite of tools tailor made for government officials. This all-inclusive toolkit is designed to increase efficiency and efficacy of public service provision in the Maldives.
